Our client, a well-established and reputable law firm in Regina, Saskatchewan, is currently seeking a Legal Assistant to join their Litigation group. In this role, you are required to provide full clerical, administrative and general office support, displaying good litigation knowledge as well as excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail. In this role, you will: Prepare and complete all necessary litigation documentation. Handle administrative details with respect to calendar management, client meetings, filing, accounting, opening and closing files, docketing, billing, etc. Address client inquiries and schedule appointments. Maintain client files and update database. Open and close case files. Preparation of accounts. Handle travel arrangements – book flights, book hotel rooms and research transportation options. Preparation of mail and courier packages. Coordinate and organize meetings, conference calls and maintain agenda. Assist with other projects and support other departments as required. Communicate professionally with all internal and external clients.
