Our client is looking to hire two (2) motivated and talented individuals to support a new project and play a key role in their manufacturing operations. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience while contributing to an innovative and collaborative team. Required Skills and qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required; a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is considered a strong asset, while a PhD in Power Electronics is highly desirable Experience with C programming and other engineering software applications Previous experience in semiconductor product testing or applications engineering is considered a strong asset Hands-on approach with the ability to work directly with electronic components and testing equipment, not solely a desk-based role Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Excellent mathematical and analytical problem-solving skills Ability to prepare clear, accurate, and high-quality technical reports Willingness and aptitude to learn company-specific applications and tools; training will be provided Collaborative team player who thrives in a cross-functional environment Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a technical team Duties may include, but are not limited to: Perform electrical engineering duties and produce accurate, high-quality technical reports Conduct device-level analysis of high-power semiconductor components Perform laboratory testing and analysis on electrical devices and systems Review, compare, and interpret test data to identify trends and variances Develop and validate mathematical correlations based on test results Test approximately 30 semiconductor devices per week Work with and analyze components operating at voltages up to 400V Provide internal customer support to R&D and Quality Management teams, including device selection, circuit design and troubleshooting, as well as thermal, electrical, and system-level solution analysis Document findings and provide technical recommendations based on analysis results Compensation $70,000 to $100,000 per year based on experience Contract Length 1-year contract position with the potential for an additional one-year extension Schedule Monday to Friday – 8:00am/9:00am to 4:00pm/5:00pm If you are interested and believe you meet the specified qualifications, please reply to this ad with your Resume.
