Role Description The Territory Sales Representative – Ontario GTA is a full-time remote role responsible for driving sales growth and managing customer accounts within the Greater Toronto Area. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and qualifying new leads, conducting virtual and on-site meetings, and presenting product solutions tailored to customers in industrial automation and control. The role involves preparing quotes, following up on opportunities, and negotiating pricing and terms in line with company guidelines. The representative will provide technical product guidance, coordinate with internal teams for order fulfillment, and maintain accurate records in CRM tools. Regular reporting on territory performance, participation in online product trainings, and occasional attendance at industry events or customer visits are expected. Qualifications Proven experience in outside or territory sales, preferably in industrial automation, electrical components, or related technical products. Strong skills in prospecting, lead generation, and account management, with the ability to build and sustain long-term customer relationships. Ability to understand and explain technical product features and applications (e.g., relays, safety devices, disconnects) to a non-technical and technical audience. Proficiency with CRM software and common productivity tools for managing pipelines, forecasts, and customer communication. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with strong organization and time-management capabilities in a remote work environment. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with internal sales and technical support teams. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Ontario GTA as needed for customer meetings and industry events. Post-secondary education in business, engineering, or a related field is an asset; equivalent industry experience will be considered.

Requirements

Candidates should be self-motivated, able to explain technical products, hold a valid driver’s license, and be willing to travel within the Ontario GTA; post-secondary education in business, engineering, or a related field is an asset.
