Business Address: 1337 Fox Harbour Road, Fox Harbour, NS, B0K 1Y0 Work location: same as above Type of Employment: Full-time-Seasonal/ 270-day contract Estimated Start Date: March 1st, 2027 – October 31st 2027 Job Description: Prepare and irrigate soil Plant, fertilize, thin and harvest crops Pick row and orchard crops Sort, weigh and pack fruit and vegetables at the farm Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce and products for transport Clean up racks, trays, and harvest bins and general clean up of growing, producing and packing areas Assist with general farm maintenance and maintenance of equipment and tools May assist in preparing garden beds for planting Requirements: Education: No formal education is required Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding, Repetitive tasks, Standing for extended periods Personal suitability: Reliability, Team player Language: Intermediate level of English is required Salary: $19.00 hourly, 40.00 hours per week.
