They also participate in specialty nursing unit rotations and complete required post-graduate specialty nursing courses. Candidates must have graduated from an approved School of Nursing and hold current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). Additionally, they must possess current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and be willing to complete post-graduate specialty nursing programs.
