The Respiratory Therapist performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including airway management and mechanical ventilation support for patients. They also participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and maintain accurate clinical documentation and equipment standards. Candidates must have graduated from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program and successfully completed the Canadian Board of Respiratory Care credentialing exam. Current CPR Level C and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications are required.
