Position Summary The Dishwasher maintains a clean kitchen, properly washes and sorts soiled dishes, and preps foods as needed. Keeps dish area free of clutter and organized. Sets up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks. Maintains clean/dry floors throughout the shift and works with the kitchen team on other tasks as needed. Duties & Responsibilities * Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand. * Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas. * Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition. * Stock supplies such as food or utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars. * Sweep or scrub floors. * Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas. * Clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment. * Assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed. Skills, AbilitIes, attributes * Must be available to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. * Familiarity with working in a restaurant or hospitality setting. * Basic understanding of food preparation and cooking techniques. * Ability to work well as part of a team and take direction from others. * Strong attention to detail and cleanliness. * Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE * Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required. * Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures is a plus.
