Hourly wage of $22.97 We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy Flexible schedules with day, evening, and night shifts available Casual but potential for fulltime in future Paid Healthcare Security Training provided from October 26 to October 30 Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Uniform provided at no cost Responsibilities for Casual Healthcare Security Guard Conduct interior and exterior patrols of hospital premises Perform one-on-one patient watch assignments Support patient safety and maintain a secure environment Control access points and verify identification Respond to incidents, emergencies, and security concerns Use de-escalation techniques to manage challenging situations Assist hospital staff, patients, and visitors Complete accurate incident and daily activity reports Qualifications for Casual Healthcare Security Guard Be authorized to work in Canada Hold a valid Alberta Security Services License First Aid/CPR certification required Flexible availability to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills Previous healthcare security experience is considered an asset Ability to stand and walk for extended periods This could be more than a job!
