Job Overview The Operations Paw Print Tech, reporting into Operations Care Center Management, is responsible for creating or coordinating the creation of ceramic/clay/ink paw prints. This individual will use their knowledge and tools to develop the commercially successful design for the paw print creation. The Paw Print Tech will also load kilns, glaze, decorate and fire the ceramic paw prints. Duties & Responsibilities Create and package paw prints, fur clippings, engraving plaques and memorial products. Maintain daily production goals, keep area organized and clean. Take ownership of machinery, making adjustments, providing feedback and submitting maintenance requests. Adhere to all workplace safety polices, compliances and regulations. All other duties as assigned. Education, Training & Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Some level of demonstrated artistic ability preferred Skills & Abilities Passion for Pets - Caring, patient, kind, and empathetic. Customer Focus - Prioritize quality, safety and ethics. Problem Solving – Developing Solutions and Quick Thinking Proven team player who is flexible and adaptable. Energetic, self-motivated, and results oriented. Good verbal communication skills. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. The ability to feel comfortable building and maintaining relationships with other industry professionals and pet parents; able to work independently or as part of a team. Safety - Committed to working in a safe environment; e.g., OSHA Strong attention to detail Working Conditions Regularly bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, sitting, repetitive motion, hand/wrist/finger motion Regular lifting/moving 100+ lbs Regularly be exposed to elevated noise levels. Regularly be exposed to elevated heat levels.
