As a Kitchen Attendant, you'll play an essential role in supporting the culinary team and helping keep the kitchen clean, organized, and ready for service. YOUR ROLE * Measuring ingredients and prepare the necessary food items as directed and in accordance with standards in a timely and efficient fashion to ensure that there is no interruption to guest service * Receiving deliveries, ensuring they are accurate and a good quality * Perform basic cleaning duties * Keep work station clean and organized including fridges/freezers, counter tops and stove tops * Operate all kitchen equipment and conduct themselves with safety in mind at all times * Ensure that all food products are handled, stored, prepared and served safely in accordance with hotel and government Food Safety guidelines * Report any and all deficiencies in kitchen equipment functionality and quality of food products * Comply with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment * Adhere to all environmental policies and programs as required * Other task as required YOUR PROFILE * Culinary Management diploma or similar studies an asset * Experience in areas of hotel kitchen operations is an asset * Proven ability to plan, organize and multi-task * An acute sense of time management and attention to detail * Able to lift/carry/push supplies or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs * Able to stand for up to 5 hours at a time WHAT WE OFFERED * A percentage of the group insurance is paid by the employer for full time employees * Promotional rate to discover Germain Hôtels properties through Canada * Opportunities to develop your career within a growing company across Canada * Access to the hotel gym * Employee referral program * Employee Assistance Program for team member and their family

Requirements
A diploma in Culinary Management and experience in hotel kitchen operations are considered assets. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for up to 5 hours.
