We're looking for an autonomous Night Auditor with an open and empathetic attitude, who will be responsible for guest arrivals and departures, as well as recording the day's transactions and always being ready to respond to an urgent situation. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Perform all night audit accounting tasks, including: reconciling deposits, resolving account chargebacks and producing reports. * Ensure the security of the premises during the night, which means knowing how to make important decisions in the event of an emergency. * Check-in and check-out guests, verify and detail them, and ensure that internal activities run smoothly, so that communication with the next morning's work team and colleagues in other departments always runs smoothly. * Manage entry and exit traffic in front of the hotel, as well as greeting and informing guests with a smile, giving them parking procedures and other relevant information: directions to a sightseeing area, access to main roads, etc. WHAT YOU WILL BRING * Hotel or accounting background, an asset * Night Auditor experience, an asset * A valid driver's license and the ability to drive a manual transmission * Strong communication skills in both French and English (spoken and written), due to interactions with English-speaking guests and colleagues across Canada * Ability to handle unexpected situations creatively and professionally * Autonomy, sense of organization, responsibility, and initiative - essential * Positive and trustworthy attitude WHAT WE OFFER * Passionate about travel? Requirements
