JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES POSITION: Sudbury MHSW Depot Operator HOURS OF WORK: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday, Saturdays when required WORK REQUIREMENTS: ● Report to and receive authorization from the HHW Depot Manager ● Receive, sort, pack, and bulk waste received from residents and the Toxic Taxi ● Have good communication skills while dealing with the public ● Bilingual is preferred ● Maintain a valid “G” Class driver’s license ● Ensure that the depot runs in an efficient and effective manner at all times ● Maintain clean grounds and facility ● Wear all of the required PPE at all times ● Work in a safe manner at all times ● Light administrative duties - receiving and responding to phone calls and emails, data entry to Excel ● Ensure the information recorded on the logs is accurate prior to Depot Manager’s review We thank you for your interest.
