CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE Front Desk Early Mornings Gold’s Gym is hiring a part-time Front Desk Receptionist, with the potential to grow! Are you outgoing, enthusiastic, and have a passion for fitness? We would love to hear from you! ABOUT THE ROLE: Time of Work - Must be available 3-4 days a week, 12-24 hours a week. : MID SHIFTS: 9:15am-1:15pm WEEKDAYS Training shifts will be early mid day for the first 10-14 days of employment. *Weekend shifts may be require upon request. NO extended time off for travel in the first 4 months of employment. (Including Christmas) What we need from you Valid First Aid certification an asset. Service driven with an enthusiastic attitude. Previous customer service experience required. High school diploma required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in English - Ability to speak other languages an asset. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.). Knowledge of cash handling / previous experience with POS terminals. Ability work both alone and in groups. Critical thinking / problem solving skills. Must have reliable transportation (vehicle) OR live within walking distance. Key Responsibilities Ensure facility is open on time and members are able to check in at start of day. Greet members and guests enthusiastically to encourage a positive culture at the club. Promptly ensure that customer inquiries are resolved professionally and thoroughly via telephone, e-mail and in person encounters. Monitor member check-ins / Check-in guests ensuring all policies and processes are Ensure that guests and appointments are directed to the appropriate employee/department in a prompt, professional manner. Complete all guest check in procedures. Efficiently and effective input and update daily cash reconciliation documents Process point of sale items, such as retail and concession sales. Check in all members and guests using the proper registration procedures. Distribute membership cards, parking decals, towels, child-minding tickets, and other materials as needed.
