Maintenance Working / Maintenance Lead - Langley About the Role We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Gym Maintenance Technician to join our team full-time. This role is critical in ensuring our facility, equipment, and overall member experience remain at the highest standard. If you are hands-on, mechanically inclined, and take pride in maintaining a clean and fully operational environment, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fitness equipment (cardio machines, strength equipment, etc.) Pool, Spa and Steam Room maintenance an asset Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with gym equipment Conduct daily facility inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality Complete preventative maintenance schedules for all equipment Maintain locker rooms, washrooms, and common areas to a high standard Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs when needed Track maintenance logs, repairs, and inventory of tools/parts Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies Requirements Must have reliable transportation Previous experience working with gym equipment (preferred) Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Physically capable of lifting, moving, and repairing heavy equipment Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards Full-time availability (including some weekends if required) Preferred Qualifications (Assets) Certification in fitness equipment repair/maintenance Trade certifications (electrical, HVAC, or general maintenance) WHMIS, First Aid, or other safety certifications Experience working in a gym, fitness center, or similar environment What We Offer Competitive hourly wage (based on experience) Opportunities for growth within the company Complimentary gym membership Supportive and team-oriented environment How to Apply Please submit your resume outlining your relevant experience.
