Job Title: Custodian Location: Loch March Golf and Country Club Job Type: Full-time Reports to: General Manager Job Summary: The idea candidate would be someone who is careful and thorough in their work. Ensuring they clean and tidy the premises with great care and an eye for detail. The right candidate is experienced, reliable, focused, committed to building up-keep and has a great physical stamina. Duties/Responsibilities: Ensuring all floors are upkept (vacuum, sweep and mop) Restock necessary items (example: soap & paper products) Cleaning mirrors and windows as needed. General outdoor services and maintenance, such as watering plants, sweeping entry areas, cleaning glass doors at entrances. Taking out trash, tidying, rearranging furniture, and wiping surfaces. Ability to perform basic maintenance work and minor repairs (such as replacing broken switches, repairing door handles, replacing lightbulbs etc.) Must report major damages to management and willingness to oversee repairs if asked to do so. Undertake occasional seasonal task (such as shoveling sidewalk) Required Skills/Abilities: Able to work for 8hrs on your feet. Stamina, good physical condition, and strength Detail oriented Comfortable with basic landscaping and maintenance tasks Education and Experience: Highschool diploma is preferred, but not required. Work experience as a custodian or similar role. Solid working knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances and how to maintain them. WHIMS training certificate Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the premises through floor care, surface wiping, and restocking supplies. Perform basic maintenance repairs and seasonal outdoor tasks such as landscaping and snow removal.

Candidates should have previous experience as a custodian and a solid knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment. A WHIMS training certificate and the ability to lift up to 50lbs are required.
