Date posted: September 9, 2026 Pay: CA$19.00-CA$21.00 per hour Job description: Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Line Cook to join our team in a fast-paced, dynamic restaurant environment. This role is essential in ensuring our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a commitment to cleanliness, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Duties & Responsibilities * Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. * Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling dishes. * Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment to maintain a clean and organized kitchen. * Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. * Support serving staff by providing clean plates, glassware, and utensils as needed. * Participate in inventory management by reporting supplies that need replenishing. Requirements * Availability: Monday to Sunday. Our hours of operations are mainly from 11am-8pm with occasional evening events as well as extended hours during the summer time for patio season. * Commitment: full-time preferred ( 2–4 shifts per week). * Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred. * Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cooking techniques an asset. * Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Strong cleaning and organizational skills with an emphasis on maintaining a sanitary workspace.
