Associate Director – Warehousing, Distribution & Transportation – Food / Pharmaceuticals / CPG -Continuous Improvement Supply Chain Lead Location: Mississauga - Brampton, ON Base Salary: 150K -180K, bonus, Benefits Full Time Permanent 3 days a week on Site Lead Warehousing Transportation budgets; 3PL management; Inventory Management, 3rd Party carriers, Order Management Improve Efficiencies, Productivity, Savings, Establish 3PL , 3PL Performance Management, Lean Six Sigma Continuous Improvement projects, Floor Layout, Capacity Planning, System Upgrades WMS TMS Lead and Run the RFP RFQ Process for logistics vendor partners Temperature Controlled HACCP Food GMP (MUST have) Our client is a well-established leader in the food /Pharmaceutical / CPG industry, in a temperature-controlled environment and have an existing job open for Associate Director – Warehousing, Distribution & Transportation. The role is a Continuous Improvement role to improve Productivity, Process Flow, Efficiencies within Logistics Warehousing & Transportation through 3PL providers and 3rd party carriers. This requires 3 days on site in a hands-on yet strategic role Associate Director – Warehousing, Distribution & Transportation) will be fully responsible for overseeing import of finished goods inventory -ocean air and ground transportation, manage freight forwarders for cross border shipments and be responsible for order management and inventory control through 3rd party logistics providers. You will lead the RFP RFQ process to select and manage 3PL providers and carriers, create score cards, set up SLA, manage budgets, costs and improve overall productivity within temperature controlled highly compliant facilities. Associate Director – Warehousing, Distribution & Transportation will have a minimum 8-10 years in the food / pharmaceutical / health & beauty/ cosmetics with minimum 5-6 years in senior management roles, must have led the RFI, RFP and RFQ process for logistics partners (MUST have). Continuous Improvement lean six sigma experience leading operational efficiencies within Inventory management, inbound logistics, imports, freight-ocean, road, order management and similar are all key to the role. Bachelors degree is highly preferred, lean six sigma green belt, courses in P. Log, CITT, CCLP or similar with excellent English communication skills, is a MUST. A bachelor's degree is highly preferred; Lean Six Sigma experience and credentials or courses such as P. Log, CITT, or CCLP are sought, along with excellent English communication skills and food safety or compliance experience including HACCP and GMP.
