RPG Developer

We're looking for an RPG Developer to join our team supporting a mission-critical Warehouse Management System (WMS) built on IBM AS/400 (IBM i). This application is the operational backbone for our warehouse and logistics operations, and the developer in this role will maintain, enhance, and modernize it — including a web front end and an expanding set of API-based integrations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working across a full stack that spans legacy RPG business logic, SQL-based data access, and modern web/API technologies, and who wants to be part of a team actively modernizing how the system connects with the outside world. What You'll Do Design, develop, test, and maintain RPG (RPG IV / RPGLE preferred) programs on the IBM AS/400 (IBM i) platform supporting core WMS functionality Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for data access, reporting, and integration needs Support and enhance the HTML-based front-end application that interfaces with the AS/400 back end Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs to support customer and internal system integrations, as part of the company's ongoing shift toward API-first connectivity Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across the RPG application, database layer, and web front end Collaborate with business stakeholders, warehouse operations teams, and other developers to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation of new and existing functionality Contribute to the ongoing modernization roadmap for the WMS platform, including opportunities to introduce new tools, frameworks, or approaches where appropriate

Maintain and modernize a mission-critical Warehouse Management System on the IBM i platform. Develop RPG programs, optimize SQL queries, and build RESTful APIs to enhance system connectivity and web front-end interfaces.

Seeking a developer proficient in RPG IV/RPGLE and SQL with experience in IBM AS/400 environments. Candidates should have the ability to work across a full stack including web front-ends and API-based integrations.
