Role and Facility Information We are looking for a dedicated Respirologist to join a dynamic and collegial team serving both hospital and community-based needs in Penticton, British Columbia. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an established group providing comprehensive respiratory care to a diverse and growing population. Our team offers a full-spectrum respirology practice, with a wide range of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. You will have access to strong support for bronchoscopy, pleural procedures, and be involved in the management of a Level 4 pulmonary function laboratory and Rapid Access Clinic. The practice is diverse and well-established, serving a catchment of around 100,000 people, including a significant, generally healthy aging population within the South Okanagan and Kootenay region. You'll be exposed to a broad scope of respirology, supported by excellent collaboration across departments and access to a wide network of medical subspecialists. For those with an academic interest, there is the opportunity to teach and mentor Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residents through the University of British Columbia’s Southern Medical Program. Interested candidates can choose to take part in Internal Medicine/ICU call, that is shared among a supportive group of internists, with a typical 1:8 to 1:10 rotation.
