"Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement" Human Resources Exemption: No Education * Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP) Licenses * Valid Class 4 driver's license * Registered Paramedic (2011 National Occupational Competency Profile standards) * Health Care Provider Level C Certificate (HCP-C) * International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS) Other Education and Training * Basic Life Support Instructor Certificate (BLS) Competencies * Basic - Communication skills * Basic - Interpersonal skills Knowledge and Abilities * Ability to work and communicate in a cross cultural setting Other Information * For more information on the town of Outlook please visit https://townofoutlook.ca/ * Outlook is located approximately 94 km south of Saskatoon * Clean Driver's Abstract * Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at PCP/EMT level * Standard Hours * Must be able to respond to the ambulance within 10 minutes when on-call * May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives * Scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period.
