The General Duty Nurse is responsible and accountable for the provision of safe client care services and programs. Required to cover shifts in both facilities listed above. Human Resources Exemption: No Education * Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Other Education and Training * Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable * Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable * Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) * Nursing diploma is acceptable Other Information * Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) * La Loche is located approximately 347 km north of Meadow Lake * Registered/eligible with College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of SK - CRPNS * May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives * No guaranteed hours The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is the largest employer in Saskatchewan, employing more than 45,000 staff in a dynamic healthcare environment. Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Psychiatric Nursing diploma, or a Nursing diploma, and be registered or eligible with the CRNS or CRPNS. A Basic Life Support Certificate is also required.
