Human Resources Exemption: No Education * Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Licenses * Basic Life Support Health Care Provider Certificate (BLS-HCP) Other Education and Training * Nursing diploma is acceptable Competencies * Time management skills * Decision making skills * Organizational skills Knowledge and Abilities * Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office programs (Word/Excel/Outlook) * Demonstrated clinical competency * Ability to conduct assessments/prioritize client needs/develop treatment plans * Ability to coach, mentor and develop others * Knowledge in critical thinking processes * Responsible for accurate observation/documentation of patient related info. * Knowledge in LEAN management system * Sensitive and understanding of diverse cultural aspects of population served * Working knowledge in health promotion * Ability to balance the needs and interests of diverse groups * Knowledge in Infection Prevention and Control standards * Knowledge of CRNS standards for nursing practice * Competent critical thinking/judgement/autonomous decision making capabilities * Conflict resolution skills to effectively handle difficult issues * Knowledge in population and public health concepts * Communicate effectively orally and written socio-economic status * Works independently, effectively and cooperatively with a multidisciplinary team * Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development * "Ability to work independently to plan and prioritize workload demands.
