The Occupational Therapist uses a holistic, client-centered approach to optimize functional ability and safety for individuals with severe mental illness. Key duties include performing complex assessments, implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support independent community living. Candidates must hold a current Certificate of Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and certification in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. Experience working with populations experiencing severe and persistent physical or mental illness is required.
