The Radiation Therapist is responsible for the safe and accurate delivery of radiation treatments as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist. This includes patient preparation, treatment planning, dosimetry, and performing quality assurance on technical equipment. Candidates must hold a current certificate of registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) in Radiation Therapy. A current CPR certificate and completion of the Ministry of Labour Worker Health and Safety Awareness training are also required.
