Helical Pile Solutions (HPS) is seeking a Heavy Haul Driver to join their team. You must have good safety awareness, good communication & competent decision-making skills, and a desire to perform requested duties with a focus on safety and appropriate precautions. Responsibilities Maintain and ensure a high level of safety Ensure a daily JHA, attend all safety meetings and daily tailboard meetings Perform equipment walk-around inspections Troubleshoot mechanical problems, field repair minor fixes and communicate major issues with mechanics Maintain a clean drivers abstract Working for upwards of 21 days away from home Work overtime daily Adaptable to changing shifts and conditions Requirements Requirements and Qualifications Hold a valid Class 1 driver's license Clean drivers abstract - Minimum 5 years Minimum 5 years Experience Drive safely and in compliance with all company regulations Familiarity with E-logs (pre-trip, post-trip) Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to follow safe working procedures Must have low bed truck experience Must have winch truck experience Must have heavy haul experience Must be able to load and unload equipment with little or no supervision on site Maintain a professional attitude Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team Excellent observation skills and a strong attention to detail Experience with mountainous terrain and rough ROW access Benefits Extended Healthcare Plan (Medical, Disability, Dental) Group RRSP Group Life - AD&D - Critical Illness Insurance Training & Development Employee Assistance Program - Counseling
