Duties Assist in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to quality standards Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and presentation standards Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices in compliance with food safety regulations Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to maintain efficient kitchen operations Collaborate with restaurant management to develop menus and special offerings that meet customer expectations Serve as a leader on the kitchen floor, providing guidance and support to team members during service hours Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times Qualifications Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service setting Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively Extensive restaurant management experience preferred, including menu development and operational oversight Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the hospitality industry Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork and customer service Previous experience working within the food industry or hospitality sector is highly desirable Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism Passion for culinary arts with a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences Use of Artificial Intelligence in Recruitment As part of our recruitment and selection process, we may use technology-enabled tools, including artificial intelligence (AI), to assist with certain aspects of candidate screening, assessment, scheduling, and application review.
