Maintenance Manager We’re looking for a Maintenance Manager to lead our Maintenance team and ensure the facilities, equipment, and site at Scandinave Spa Whistler are maintained to the highest standards. At Scandinave Spa Whistler, our mission is to offer a haven for personal renewal in the Scandinavian age-old tradition, where body and mind find peace. Guests come to disconnect from daily stress and reconnect with themselves through hot baths, cold plunges, relaxation areas, and massage therapy. How You’ll Make an Impact Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and operation of the Spa’s buildings, facilities, mechanical equipment, pools, baths, and steam rooms. Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team to deliver high-quality, responsive maintenance. Manage preventative maintenance programs and long-term maintenance planning to ensure equipment and facilities are operating safely and efficiently. Monitor pool and spa water quality and respond to complex water quality and equipment issues. Coordinate facility and building renovations, including managing subcontractors as required. Manage maintenance supplies, equipment, inventory, and vendor relationships. Oversee site safety and respond to emergencies as required. What Makes You a Great Fit Previous supervisory or management experience, with a hands-on leadership style to build a strong and accountable team culture. Strong working knowledge of building maintenance, with experience in plumbing, electrical or carpentry, trade qualifications are highly regarded. Experience with commercial pool operations is an asset. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet, take initiative, and respond effectively to changing priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and SharePoint. Flexible availability, including AM and PM shifts, weekends, and holidays BC Driver’s Licence. Clear criminal record check.
