The purpose of this position is to oversee the creation, maintenance and optimization of schedules for employees, resources and daily operations. This role ensures adequate coverage, efficient workflow, and compliance with organizational policies. Compensation, hours and location: The Scheduling Coordinator is Grid 14 - Compensation starts at $35.82 per hour and requires union membership. Please note, effective December 1st, 2026, the wage will be $37.03 per hour. This is a Full-Time position with the option of: 7:30am-3:30pm Thursday-Monday 7:30am-3:30pm Friday-Tuesday 7:30am-3:30pm Saturday-Wednesday Who We’re Looking For: Candidates who able to think critically, take initiative, and have strong organization skills. Candidates who are positive, adaptable, and hard working. What we are looking for: Proven leadership skills: the ability to support with orientation, training, supervision, and work direction. Excellent communicator who is understanding, patient and non-judgmental while able to provide direction and feedback. Ability to coordinate staffing levels, develop and manage schedules, and analyze scheduling trends. Experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating policies and procedures. Computer literacy and ability to use relevant technology platforms. Preference Given to those who have: Experience working in a unionized environment. Qualification Requirements: Diploma in a related field, three years recent related experience, and one-year minimum experience in a supervisory or administrative role. Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Must be 19 years or older. Must obtain and maintain screening through the Ministry of Justice.
