We are partnering with a growing, internationally connected organization to hire a Human Resources Manager for its Vancouver office. About Our Client Our client is an established global organization with a diverse workforce and teams located across multiple regions. The Vancouver office is a corporate hub supporting a range of professional functions. About The Opportunity This is a broad HR role with approximately 60% of the position focused on projects and initiatives, rather than purely transactional HR work. You will have significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to provide input into HR strategy, employee relations, recruitment, analytics, and process improvements. The role also provides leadership responsibility for two and offers the opportunity to work closely with global HR colleagues and other corporate functions. About The Position The Human Resources Manager will oversee HR operations for the Vancouver office while contributing to global initiatives. Provide HR guidance and support to employees, managers, and senior leadership. Lead employee relations matters, including performance management, coaching, investigations, and workplace concerns. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, employee documentation, and related HR processes. Coordinate payroll with an external provider, reviewing reports for accuracy and resolving discrepancies. Support compensation, benefits, and annual incentive programs. Lead two direct reports responsible for HR coordination and office administration. Develop HR reporting and analytics to identify trends and support business decisions. Contribute to global HR projects, process improvements, systems initiatives, and other special projects. Partner with Finance, IT, Legal, and global HR teams across multiple regions. Support employee engagement, workplace initiatives, and ongoing improvements to the employee experience. The Requirements 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or HR management capacity. Flexibility with work hours, working with international teams will require some early morning and evening meetings on occasion. Strong payroll knowledge, including the ability to review payroll calculations and identify errors. Experience supporting senior leaders and managing employee relations matters. Experience with recruitment, onboarding, benefits, and compensation administration. Previous team leadership or supervisory experience. Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment legislation. Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills. Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills; HRIS/HCM experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Power BI or HR reporting experience is an asset. Experience working with global teams or in a complex organization is an asset.
