Eligibility: At least 19 years old, with a clear criminal record check (or willingness to obtain one), and valid First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Certification: Responsible Adult Course required (20-hour course, cost covered by us) Job Details: Part-Time/Split Shift: Morning hours from 7:00 am to 8:45 am and afternoon hours from 2:35 pm to 6:00 pm. No Weekend Work: Enjoy your weekends off! Additional pay: Overtime pay Schedule: Monday to Friday No weekends Location: 4750 Hammond Bay Road, Nanaimo, BC V9T5B1

What you’ll do

Support a nurturing and enriching environment for school-aged children before and after school and during summer months. Help foster young learners’ development through attentive, patient, and engaging care.

Requirements

Applicants must be at least 19 years old and have a clear criminal record check or be willing to obtain one. A valid First Aid certification and completion of a 20-hour Responsible Adult Course are required, though the employer will cover the course cost and help obtain certifications.
