Role: Data Center Engineering Operations Lead Length: 6 month contract + extensions/conversion to FTE Location: Varennes, QC Shift Schedule: 12 hour shift. Rotation schedule. 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, etc. one week worker will work 36hours and next 48hours (Rotation) Shift will be 6am to pm or 6pm to 6am (Rotation) Experience 3+ years of relevant work experience in a data center or other critical environment Understanding of the electrical and mechanical systems involved in critical data center operations such as: generators, transformers, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS units, PDU units, pumps, air handling units, and CRAC units Bilingual in French and English required. Must have the ability to read and speak/communicate in French and read/write/speak/communicate fluently in English with respect to complex technical instructions and concepts Excellent communication and attitude to take ownership of work and lead junior team members Bachelor or College degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent work experience in Mechanical/Electrical Field Must have reliability security clearance with Government of Canada or be able to clear upon hire *We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position. *Pay range for this role is between $35 - 38/hr CAD. *This role is an existing vacancy. *No requirement for Canadian experience or education.

Requirements
Requires at least three years of relevant experience in a data center or other critical environment, along with knowledge of critical electrical and mechanical systems. Candidates must be bilingual in French and English, have a relevant engineering degree or equivalent mechanical/electrical experience, and hold or be able to obtain Government of Canada reliability security clearance.
