Role: Senior Design Engineer Type: 6 month contract Location: Onsite 5x/week in Cambridge, ON Rate: $35-$42/hr JOB DESCRIPTION Insight Global is looking for a Senior Design Engineer is responsible for the development and advancement of new technologies by proactively contributing high-impact ideas and innovative designs that align with the company’s strategic growth objectives. This role focuses on continuously improving the safety, efficiency, and overall capabilities of the company’s equipment and processes. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Minimum five years of experience in related industry. Hands-on experience with tools, machinery, heavy equipment, or vehicles, and/or technical knowledge of cranes, structural fabrication, machining, hydraulics, electronics, and control systems. Proficient with SolidWorks. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or civil engineering is required. Licensed Professional Engineer (P. Eng). NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Lean-6Sigma yellow/green/black belt is an asset. We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position.
