Location: Toronto Contract: 6 month (possibility of extension) Hybrid: 2-3 days a week onsite Pay rate: $80 JOB DESCRIPTION Insight Global is seeking an experienced Solution Design Lead with a strong blend of hands-on engineering expertise and technical leadership experience to lead the design and delivery of enterprise AI solutions. This individual will act as a consultant to multiple senior business stakeholders, helping define AI strategy, create user stories, evaluate technologies, build and scale agent-based solutions, and ensure successful delivery across multiple squads. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE -7+ years of experience in software engineering, solution engineering, or solution architecture, with a progression from hands-on development into a technical leadership, consulting, or architecture-focused role. -Hands-on experience designing and implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and multi-agent AI systems, utilizing frameworks such as LangChain and/or Model Context Protocol (MCP). -Proven experience taking AI solutions from Proof of Concept (POC) to Production, including architecture, deployment, and scalability considerations. -Experience working within Databricks and Azure environments, supporting AI/ML application development and deployment. Strong proficiency in Python development. -Solid understanding of APIs, including integrations, authentication, authorization, and system-to-system communication. -Experience working in Agile environments, including sprint planning, backlog management, and user story creation/refinement. -Experience collaborating with senior business and product stakeholders (Director/Senior Director level) and providing technical guidance across multiple teams or squads. Requires 7+ years of software, solution, or architecture engineering experience, including hands-on development and progression into technical leadership, consulting, or architecture. Candidates need practical experience with RAG and multi-agent systems, LangChain and/or MCP, productionizing AI solutions, Databricks, Azure, Python, APIs, Agile delivery, and senior stakeholder collaboration.
