We are looking for an experienced SAP Test Lead for a 6-month contract position, with possible extensions, in Calgary, Alberta. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada. Position is available as hybrid. 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week. Role Description Our client is migrating from SAP HANA to SAP RISE (RISE with SAP) and is looking for an experienced Test Lead to own the test strategy and execution for this transformation. You'll be responsible for ensuring the migration is thoroughly validated across functional, integration, regression, and performance testing, working closely with client stakeholders, SAP functional teams, and third-party vendors. The client is also engaging SAP Tricentis as a testing tool/services vendor for this project, so familiarity with the Tricentis toolset is a strong plus, though not required. Responsibilities Define and own the overall test strategy and test plan for the SAP HANA-to-RISE migration Coordinate test cycles across functional, integration, regression, performance, and UAT phases Manage a team of testers (internal and/or vendor-provided), assigning work and tracking progress Partner with functional/technical SAP teams to identify test scenarios and acceptance criteria Manage test data, environments, and defect triage/resolution processes Liaise with SAP Tricentis (or equivalent tooling vendor) on test automation approach, if applicable Report on test progress, risks, and quality metrics to project leadership Support cutover planning and post-go-live hypercare validation Required Skills and Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Proven experience as a Test Lead on large-scale ERP or SAP implementation/migration projects Strong understanding of test management fundamentals: test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting Experience coordinating cross-functional testing teams Comfortable working with both business and technical stakeholders Excellent communication and organizational skills Desired Skills and Experience Direct experience with SAP RISE migrations or implementations is an asset Hands-on experience with SAP Tricentis (Tosca, qTest, or related tools) is an asset SAP HANA background or exposure to HANA-to-RISE transition projects is an asset SAP testing certifications or relevant SAP functional module knowledge is an asset Candidates with direct SAP RISE experience are strongly preferred. Experience with SAP Tricentis is a valuable bonus given the client's vendor relationship, but is not a hard requirement. A strong generalist Test Lead with solid ERP/SAP migration testing experience will also be considered. Requirements

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree and proven experience as a Test Lead on large-scale SAP or ERP migration projects. Direct experience with SAP RISE and familiarity with the Tricentis toolset are strongly preferred assets.
