Our client, a leading stainless steel piping fabricators is hiring Pipe Welder's on a permanent basis. LMIA Support Available!!! Responsibilities: Welding of various stainless steel and nickel-alloy spooling according to procedures Examining completed welds to ensure they are free of defects and conform to various ASME Codes Take prepared metal components and fit together per drawings. Set up and operate welding equipment to fuse metal segments, using various welding techniques, to complete the project. Operate manual MIG & TIG & SMAW welding machines Finish welds (e.g. grinding, cleaning). Inspect product to ensure it is structurally sound and adheres to quality standards. Communicate any machine or production problem that may affect the desired output to the Production Manager. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience welding stainless steel and nickel alloy pipe. GTAW experience is mandatory Proficiency in SMAW, FCAW and GMAW welding techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Ability to adapt quickly from project to project as needed. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
