Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the daily and long-term maintenance operations of the plant, parts inventory, and maintenance workers while maintaining and upholding all food safety and OHS guidelines. Annual Salary: $77,000 - $90,000 Application deadline: October 21st, 2026 Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance employees while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Coordinate daily and long-term maintenance activities in partnership with the Maintenance Planner. Oversee preventative and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Prioritize, schedule, and monitor maintenance work orders and backlog activities to ensure timely completion. Troubleshoot equipment issues and support mechanical repairs, maintenance projects, and process improvements. Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and other departments to resolve operational challenges and improve performance. Monitor maintenance spending and support effective management of departmental resources and budgets. Ensure accurate maintenance documentation, work orders, timekeeping, and purchasing activities. Identify and implement opportunities to improve equipment performance, efficiency, and reliability. Champion safety, food safety, and quality standards while ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures Qualifications Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing or industrial manufacturing environment. Previous supervisory or leadership experience within a maintenance function. Strong mechanical troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and problem-solving skills. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities. Industrial Red Seal Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation trade certification, mechanical engineering degree/diploma, or equivalent maintenance-related education is considered an asset. Experience with preventative/predictive maintenance programs, including vibration analysis and lubrication analysis, is considered an asset. #LI-LP1 Founded in 1882, J.D.
