We are seeking an Operational Technology & Controls Specialist to support and enhance the site's industrial control systems, networks, cybersecurity controls, and automation infrastructure. In this role, you'll work closely with operations, maintenance, electricians, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of critical plant systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced industrial controls, electrician or networking professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex systems, driving continuous improvement, and leading technology upgrades in a manufacturing environment. #LI-LP1 Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 Application Deadline: October 26th, 20206 Responsibilities Maintain and support the operational technology (OT) infrastructure across the Waste Water Treatment and Biogas facilities. Troubleshoot automation, controls, and network issues to minimize downtime and drive effective root cause analysis. Provide programming, configuration, and technical support for PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and related control technologies. Monitor, maintain, and imp Perform minor electrical, instrumentation, and control system maintenance to support production and equipment reliability. rove the reliability and security of operational technology hardware, software, and industrial network infrastructure. Support operational technology cybersecurity initiatives, including vulnerability assessments, remediation activities, access management, and incident response. Liaise between Operations, Maintenance, IT, and external vendors for operational technology-related systems and projects. Lead or support OT equipment lifecycle management, including upgrades, replacements, firmware updates, and obsolescence projects. Support the implementation of new technologies, automation solutions, and capital projects within the facility. Assist in developing and maintaining technical documentation, standards, and best practices for operational technology systems and controls. Qualifications Red Seal Industrial Electrician, Red Seal Instrumentation & Control Technician, Industrial Programmer/Automation Technologist, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 3+ years of experience in Operational Technology (OT), industrial automation, controls, industrial electrical systems, or industrial networking within a manufacturing environment. Hands-on experience troubleshooting and supporting PLC, HMI, SCADA, instrumentation, motor controls, VFDs, electrical systems, and industrial networking infrastructure. Programming and configuration experience with industrial automation platforms; experience with Rockwell Automation systems is preferred. Working knowledge of industrial Ethernet networks, network infrastructure, system backups, disaster recovery, and asset lifecycle management. Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable corrective actions. Experience leading or supporting automation upgrades, system migrations, and capital projects while working with vendors and contractors.
