Location: Toronto, ON — Hybrid (Downtown core/ 2 Days onsite) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Duration: 4 months (with Possibility of extension and conversion) About the Role We are seeking an experienced Operations Officer III to join a high-performing AML Operations team focused on EFTR (Electronic Fund Transfer Reporting) regulatory compliance. This is a 4-month contract with strong potential for extension and conversion to permanent employment. What You'll Do Perform independent reviews of EFTR data discrepancy and incompleteness alerts Remediate EFTR records by accurately updating required data fields Validate data accuracy through reconciliation, verification, and exception handling Analyze source documentation to determine accurate regulatory reporting outcomes Manage RFIs with internal partners to resolve missing or conflicting data Identify and escalate data quality issues within defined SLAs Support audits and regulatory reviews with documentation and insights What You Bring 1.5+ years of progressive experience in FINTRAC EFTR regulatory reporting Prior experience in a corporate or financial services environment Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) Proven ability to work independently on moderate-to-high complexity tasks Strong attention to detail and risk awareness High school diploma minimum (college/university preferred) Bonus Points Previous experience at a major Canadian bank Knowledge of AML systems (FircoSoft, SAS, Actimize) Cross-border regulatory knowledge (Canada + U.S.) Education: Minimum High school diploma required Nice-to-Have Previous Client experience About US Tech Solutions: US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions. What you’ll do

The Operations Officer will perform independent reviews of EFTR data discrepancy alerts and remediate records to ensure regulatory compliance. They will also manage RFIs, validate data accuracy through reconciliation, and support audits with documentation and insights.

Requirements

Candidates must have 1.5+ years of progressive experience in FINTRAC EFTR regulatory reporting and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A minimum of a high school diploma is required, with preference given to those with experience at a major Canadian bank and knowledge of AML systems.
