SAP Functional Consultant (Contract) Location: Hybrid (Initially hybrid, with flexibility for remote work thereafter) Travel: Weekly travel to Markham and periodic travel to Trenton required Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant to support the integration of newly acquired North American businesses into an existing SAP environment. This contract role will focus on designing, testing, and deploying SAP solutions that align business processes across multiple entities and deliver a seamless customer experience. The consultant will play a key role in SAP deployment activities, process harmonization, functional testing, and end-user training, with a strong focus on SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) and SAP MM (Materials Management) within a logistics and manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Support the integration of acquired businesses into an existing SAP landscape. Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP SD/MM solutions. Participate in the redesign and optimization of SAP business processes. Configure and support end-to-end Order-to-Cash and logistics processes within SAP. Execute and coordinate functional testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve process and system issues. Develop training materials and conduct end-user training sessions. Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical resources throughout the deployment lifecycle. Assist with cutover planning, deployment activities, and post-go-live support. Support reporting and business intelligence initiatives where required. Required Qualifications 5+ years of SAP Functional Consulting experience. Strong expertise in SAP SD with working knowledge of SAP MM. Experience with SAP implementation, rollout, integration, or acquisition-related projects. Solid understanding of logistics, order management, and supply chain processes. Hands-on experience with functional testing and user acceptance testing. Experience delivering end-user training and supporting change management activities. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to travel to project locations as required. Preferred Qualifications Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or cable/wire production environments. Experience supporting post-acquisition system integrations. Exposure to SAP BI/BusinessObjects reporting solutions. Experience working on multi-site or cross-border SAP deployments.

Requirements

Candidates must have over 5 years of SAP Functional Consulting experience with strong expertise in SAP SD and working knowledge of SAP MM. Experience with system integrations, logistics, and functional testing in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
