Job Description & Requirements
We are seeking a qualified teacher who must possess:
- A Manitoba Teacher's Certificate, or eligibility for teacher certification in the Province of Manitoba.
- A major/minor in the sciences, and a strong academic background.
- Demonstrated ability to instruct the sciences/biology at the high school level.
- Demonstrated ability in the differentiation of instruction and evaluation to meet the needs of all learners.
Preference will be given to candidates who possess:
- Previous successful senior years teaching experience.
- Demonstrated ability and experience with English as an Additional Language learners.
- Experience with "E" sheltered content area programming.
- Knowledge and understanding of teaching literacy through the curriculum.
- Knowledge, skills and ability to infuse technology into the curriculum.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as an effective member of a team in delivery a quality program.
