We are currently seeking a Oral Appliance Therapy Clinical Coordinator to join our team remotely. This position is part-time at this time.
What you’ll be doing:
- Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care and education to individuals exploring or progressing through the Oral Appliance Therapy (OAT) pathway for obstructive sleep apnea and primary snoring.
- Guide patients through treatment options, expectations, risks, and benefits to support informed decision-making and positive clinical outcomes.
- Coordinate and manage a high-volume virtual caseload, ensuring timely follow-up, documentation, scheduling, and continuity of care throughout the patient journey.
- Collaborate closely with patients, clinic teams, and the Resolve Sleep Health Dental Network to provide a seamless and supportive care experience.
- Monitor patient progress and adherence, identifying concerns or barriers and escalating clinical issues when appropriate.
- Support operational and financial workflows, including accurate documentation and processing of patient payments when required.
- Utilize virtual care platforms and clinical systems effectively to deliver efficient, scalable, and high-quality care.
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with organizational standards, privacy legislation, and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and support service excellence in a fast-paced virtual healthcare environment.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through empathetic, professional, and responsive patient interactions
What you bring:
- Post-secondary education or clinical credentials in respiratory sleep health and/or dental-related fields such as RPSGT, CPSGT, RRT, or Dental Hygiene.
- Knowledge of Oral Appliance Therapy (OAT) and/or Mandibular Advancement Devices used in the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea.
- Strong clinical judgment with the ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume virtual care environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including confidence using virtual communication platforms.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to coordinate multiple patient care activities simultaneously.
- A collaborative and patient-focused approach with a passion for delivering outstanding care and customer service.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience working within digital healthcare systems and virtual platforms.
- Flexibility and adaptability, including the ability to support patients and teams across multiple time zones.
- Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.
