About the Role

s01ve Cyber Solutions is looking for an experienced MSP Systems Optimization Specialist to support a short-term operational improvement project as we continue to grow.

This is a hands-on contractor role for someone with strong MSP experience who understands technical service delivery, automation, documentation, endpoint management, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, security, and operational best practices.

The successful contractor will help review and strengthen selected MSP systems, workflows, and technical processes to support our high operational standards, scalability, and continued growth.

This role is ideal for a senior MSP consultant, technical operations specialist, systems engineer, or fractional MSP operations leader with practical experience across MSP service-delivery environments.

Key Responsibilities

The contractor may support work in the following areas

• Review selected MSP systems, workflows, and technical processes
• Provide practical recommendations to support scalability, efficiency, security, and service quality
• Support standardization of technical procedures, documentation, onboarding/offboarding, ticketing, and escalation processes
• Help align tools, workflows, people, and processes with MSP best practices
• Recommend practical improvements that support secure, consistent, and scalable operations
• Document recommendations, changes, and handoff materials clearly

Required Experience

The ideal contractor will have hands-on experience with most or all of the following:

• Kaseya RMM / VSA or similar endpoint-management platforms
• Autotask PSA
• IT Glue
• RocketCyber and/or EDR platforms
• Microsoft 365 administration
• Google Workspace administration
• Microsoft Intune
• Conditional Access
• MSP operations, automation, ticketing, documentation, and service-delivery workflows
• Security-focused endpoint and identity-management practices

Ideal Candidate

• Strong at reviewing systems and identifying improvement opportunities
• Comfortable working across tools, workflows, people, and process
• Security-minded while still practical about day-to-day operations
• Clear in documentation and communication
• Independent, proactive, and able to work with limited supervision
• Comfortable working with both leadership and technical teams

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting cybersecurity-focused MSPs or MSSPs
• Experience with compliance, cyber insurance, SOC 2, or security-framework alignment
• Experience improving technician workflows and service-delivery processes
• Experience with multi-tenant Microsoft 365 / MSP environments
• Knowledge of AI tools, AI-supported workflows, or practical AI adoption in technical operations
