About the role
Summary: Reporting to the Retail Manager - Operations, a Receiving Clerk Outfitter is responsible for backend operations including receiving, warehouse, inventory control, replenishment, stocking and maintenance/housekeeping departments Responsibilities: Systematically receive P.O.’s that come into the building Physical count of all packages coming into the building and verify count with packing slip Conduct stocking activities from back room to sales floor Perform tasks including folding, repackaging, sorting, facing and re-hanging of newly arriving Cabela’s Canada product Conduct general replenishment of all departments including facing, hanging merchandise Conduct floor checks including cleaning, updates to pricing and signage, inventory, verification of min/max settings, ensuring that shelves are full and that security tags are in place Assist with merchandise purges when necessary Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work Customer service oriented team player Ability to effectively communicate with customers and other business contacts in a courteous, positive and professional manner Physically able to stand for extended periods, and to move and handle boxes of merchandise Steel toes work boots are required Must be able to obtain a PAL license Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s welcomes applications from people with disabilities.
