Job Description
FLINT is seeking a Drafter with design and construction experience for a permanent job in Airdrie, AB starting August 2026. In this position, you will enjoy a Monday to Friday work schedule, 8-hour workdays, and benefits after 300+ hours worked.
This position does not include camp accommodations, living out allowance, or travel allowance. Therefore, it is best suited for local candidates; however, those willing to travel or relocate at their own expense are also encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Drafter in the design and construction of various projects, with a strong portfolio of relevant work in the Oil and Gas industry. Proven proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD, CADworx, and SpoolFab/Acron. Familiar with detailed fabrication drawings for pressure vessels and nozzles, including welding details and 2D cross-sectional views Experience working within VDC (Virtual Design and Construction) workflows Strong knowledge of drafting techniques, engineering and/or architectural principles, and project specifications. Familiarity with applicable industry codes, standards, and design tools. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all drawings and technical documentation.
Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements
WHMIS Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required. Must have own reliable transportation to site.

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
