Qualification – Tech Skills

• Building data-driven applications (RDBMS, NoSQL, Elasticsearch)
• Delivers results in fast-paced environments (Agile, TDD, CI/CD)
• Familiarity with shift-left approach is a plus

Qualification – Experience

• 6+ years of experience working with:

• Java

• GraphQL

• Spring / Spring Boot

• REST APIs

• Messaging systems

• Other backend programming languages

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into software design and create clean, efficient, extensible, and maintainable code.

• Own subsystems within a large domain, possessing in-depth knowledge and expertise.

• Take full responsibility for the entire software lifecycle, including:

• Design

• Development

• Testing

• Deployment

• Observability

• Monitoring

• Influence and guide team members toward sound technical decisions.

• Identify areas likely to change and design systems with flexibility to improve engineering velocity.

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners to develop innovative solutions aligned with engineering goals and principles.

• Practice evidence-centered design by making features testable, ensuring high quality, and improving continuous delivery velocity.

• Manage project features by breaking work into sub-tasks, identifying issues, and driving efficient execution.

• Provide technical guidance, perform code reviews, coach, and mentor team members.

• Identify gaps across systems and functional areas, propose solutions, build engineering roadmaps, and drive implementation.

• Lead end-to-end (E2E) testing improvements and increase delivery velocity across features.

• Lead engineering support, releases, and on-call responsibilities for a 24/7 always-on production system.
