Halifax Design Week is looking for a Marketing Volunteer to help promote this year’s event and attract designers, creatives, and participants to showcase their work.

This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience in event marketing, community building, and creative promotion.

What you’ll do

Support promotion across social media, email, and local channels Help drive applications from designers and creatives Assist with outreach to schools, studios, and creative communities Contribute ideas to increase visibility and engagement Create content and help execute marketing campaigns leading up to October 9–11

What we’re looking for

Strong communication skills Interest in design, arts, or creative industries Self-starter who can take initiative Basic knowledge of social media platforms Based in Halifax or familiar with the local community (preferred)
