Middleware Administrator – File Transfer (Intermediate)
About the role
Overview:
This role focuses on the administration, support, and optimization of enterprise file transfer and middleware platforms. The Middleware Administrator ensures the reliability, security, and efficiency of file exchange systems across a distributed, global environment.
The position involves close collaboration with international teams and participation in 24/7 operational support, including on-call rotations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and support file transfer and middleware platforms.
- Collaborate with global teams to manage systems across multiple regions.
- Participate in on-call rotations, including off-hours and weekend support.
- Provide follow-the-sun support across different time zones.
- Manage and support managed file transfer solutions (e.g., IBM Sterling suite)
- Support and troubleshoot file transfer protocols such as FTP, SFTP, PeSIT, and secure transfer mechanisms
- Provide guidance and best practices to internal stakeholders
- Contribute to the definition and improvement of operational standards and procedures
- Support automation and provisioning initiatives for file transfer platforms (e.g., API-driven processes)
- Ensure consistency in processes, methods, and operational procedures
- Recommend improvements and upgrade strategies for software and infrastructure
Qualifications:
Core Skills:
- Strong experience with managed file transfer solutions and middleware platforms
- Knowledge of file transfer protocols (FTP, SFTP, secure file transfer standards)
- Experience in production support within a 24/7 environment.
- Familiarity with distributed systems and global team collaboration.
- Understanding of operational processes and system administration practices.

Ce poste est dédié à l’administration, au support et à l’optimisation des plateformes de transfert de fichiers et de middleware. L’administrateur middleware garantit la fiabilité, la sécurité et la performance des systèmes d’échange de données dans un environnement global distribué.
Le rôle implique une collaboration étroite avec des équipes internationales ainsi qu’une participation à des rotations d’astreinte dans un contexte opérationnel 24/7.
Responsabilités principales:
- Administrer et maintenir les plateformes de transfert de fichiers et middleware

Profil recherché:
Compétences clés :
- Expérience avec des solutions de transfert de fichiers managé et middleware
- Connaissance des protocoles de transfert de fichiers (FTP, SFTP, etc.)
- Expérience en support de production dans un environnement 24/7
- Expérience dans des environnements distribués et internationaux
- Bonne compréhension des प्रक्रेसus opérationnels et de l’administration système
