Fort McMurray Composite High School is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our instructional team in the role of Leadership, CTS and Math/Science Teacher.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: The Ideal Candidate would possess the following background, philosophy, and experience:

• Bachelor of Education
• Experience teaching in a junior high and senior high school setting, with knowledge of CTS Program of Studies, Senior High Math and Science.
• Knowledge and familiarity with Assessment for Learning, Literacy and Differentiated Instruction practices.
• Effective organizational and classroom management skills are imperative.
• Ability to integrate and use technology in a regular and virtual classroom.
• Ability to create goals for Individual Program Plans as well as implement the plan for students.
• A strong ability to build relationships with high school students, staff and parents.
• Strong technology skills are required, with knowledge of Google Platform applications and PowerSchool an asset.
• Flexible TEAM player.
• Knowledge of the Collaborative Response Model is an asset.
