Role: AI Delivery Operations Lead
Hourly Rate: 80-90/hr INC Length: 6 months (strong potential for permanent) Location: North York (Hybrid)

As their investment in AI, GenAI, data science, and customer experience capabilities continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced AI Delivery Operations Lead to bring structure, velocity, and operational excellence across multiple cross-functional technology teams.
Your New Role
As the AI Delivery Operations Lead, you will act as the central orchestration point for a portfolio of AI, analytics, and data initiatives. This is not a traditional project management role—it is a highly strategic delivery leadership position focused on accelerating execution, driving agile maturity, and ensuring seamless collaboration across technical and business stakeholders.
You will
Lead delivery execution across multiple AI, data science, data engineering, MarTech, and customer experience pods Establish and enforce agile delivery frameworks, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and cross-pod governance ceremonies Manage complex technical dependencies across data pipelines, analytics platforms, and customer-facing solutions Partner with Product Owners to drive prioritization, backlog management, and delivery accountability Define and track critical delivery KPIs, including sprint velocity, cycle time, deployment frequency, and operational efficiency metrics Serve as the key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating technical challenges into business impact Identify, mitigate, and escalate delivery risks before they impact timelines or outcomes Ensure adherence to data governance, privacy, compliance, and AI model safety standards throughout the delivery lifecycle Foster a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and operational excellence
What You'll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring: 5+ years of experience leading technical program delivery, product operations, PMO functions, Scrum leadership, or agile delivery management Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent agile teams or delivery pods within fast-paced technology environments Deep understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe Strong technical fluency across data engineering, analytics, cloud platforms, data warehousing, and modern software delivery practices Experience supporting AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, or GenAI initiatives from concept through production deployment Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and business audiences Expertise with delivery and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, Linear, or similar platforms Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving capabilities Preferred Qualifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist, or similar Agile certifications Exposure to MLOps, LLMOps, model governance, prompt engineering guardrails, or AI operational frameworks Experience working with Marketing Technology (MarTech), Customer Experience (CX), or customer data platforms Experience supporting large-scale enterprise digital transformation initiatives
