Our approach relies on AI-driven tutoring, mastery-oriented progression, and a fundamental redesign of traditional schooling. The outcomes speak for themselves. We now need a leader who can harmonize execution across varied school structures, elevate academic leadership standards, and serve as the public advocate for a movement built on sound learning science.
This is not a position for theoretical exploration. It is a mandate for operational leadership. You will be accountable for academic strategy in action, establish rigorous standards, surface performance gaps, and develop high-performing teams to achieve tangible results. You will convert our scientific principles into disciplined operations and champion this model to external audiences.
What You Will Be Doing
Designing academic frameworks that convert learning science principles into actionable guidance for curriculum development, motivational structures, and application interfaces. Conducting academic execution reviews with Heads of Academics to confirm alignment, enforce accountability, and verify delivery of outcomes across school teams. Integrating data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and direct observation into comprehensive academic ecosystem assessments that identify high-impact obstacles to accelerated learning and recommend targeted solutions. Ensuring strategic coherence through structured planning, continuous feedback mechanisms, and milestone monitoring to sustain focus on student achievement objectives. Serving as the senior representative of 2 Hour Learning in high-profile forums, including keynote addresses and engagements with Ministries of Education, to influence global perspectives on schooling.

Engaging in narrow curriculum initiatives disconnected from broader systemic impact. Producing theoretical research that lacks direct connection to measurable student outcomes or operational implementation. Transferring responsibility for team performance to mid-level managers or external consultants. Depending on institutional prestige or untested theory to convince skeptical audiences.
Director Of Educational Strategy Key Responsibilities
Expand and refine 2 Hour Learning's validated academic model by coordinating execution across school sites, raising leadership expectations, and establishing yourself as the authoritative voice for a movement founded on rigorous scientific principles and demonstrable outcomes.
Basic Requirements
Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field At least 7 years in academic or EdTech leadership roles, leading a team of staff/employees (not an informal peer leader role, such as grade-level lead); you must have been responsible for hiring, monitoring performance, coaching, and making termination decisions Experience driving learning outcomes for students and upholding student performance standards Experience applying AI or emerging technologies to improve education, such as through personalized learning, adaptive learning, AI agents, etc. Experience managing academic teams of 50+ people (e.g., the teams you managed directly executed curriculum, instruction, or assessment) Experience interacting directly with students, teachers, or school leaders in a professional setting

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly. Allow us to clarify some common misconceptions:
1) The reason we post so many job ads is because LinkedIn organizes all job postings by location.
